LYMPHATIC THERAPY

Before & After
Your Lymphatic Session

Helpful guidance to support your lymphatic system before your appointment and continue caring for your body afterwards.

SUPPORTING YOUR LYMPHATIC SYSTEM NATURALLY

Preparation & Consistent Aftercare

At ProGut Care Detox Centre, we believe aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. Supporting your lymphatic system consistently can help your body continue to detox, repair and restore between sessions.

01

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Before Your Session

  • Drink plenty of water before your appointment.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.
  • Avoid heavy meals beforehand.
  • Take a few deep breaths and try to relax.
  • Gentle movement before your session can help stimulate lymphatic flow.
02

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

After Your Lymphatic Session

Your lymphatic system is now moving and flushing, so it is important to continue supporting your body after your session.

  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
  • Continue gentle movement like walking or stretching.
  • Focus on deep breathing to help move lymphatic fluid.
  • Avoid alcohol and processed foods where possible for 24–48 hours.
  • Rest if your body feels tired — your body is detoxifying and repairing.
  • Continue your home care routine to help maintain results.

What You May Experience After Lymphatics

  • Going to the toilet more often
  • Increased urination
  • Darker coloured urine
  • Lots of little wees throughout the day
  • Feeling tired or emotional
  • Mild headaches
  • Skin breakouts or rashes as the body detoxes
  • Feeling lighter, less swollen or more relaxed

HOME CARE

Highly Recommended Home Care

We highly recommend using the Chelsea Jean lymphatic gloves and cream at home to continue stimulating the lymphatic system between treatments.

  • Stimulates lymphatic flow
  • Activates nerve endings
  • Supports circulation
  • Helps move fascia and fluid through the tissues
  • Supports detoxification between treatments
How to use the gloves:
Use morning and night if possible. Use both sides of the gloves: the spiky side helps activate nerve endings and stimulate the lymphatic system, while the roller side helps work deeper into the fascia and tissues. Consistency is key for long-term results.
Remember to breathe:
Breathing is one of the most important parts of lymphatic health. Deep breathing helps stimulate lymphatic drainage, activate the nervous system, reduce stress on the body and improve circulation and detoxification.
